SCIENCE for SURVIVORS
real tools, real hope, built for survivors.
Because trauma was never your whole story.
Our approach
At Science for Survivors, we provide evidence-based trauma therapy, comprehensive PTSD and psychological evaluations, and independent forensic assessments—guided by compassion and informed by science.
We also offer expert consulting, training, and public education to advance trauma-informed care in communities and organizations.
Whether you're a survivor seeking healing, a professional seeking guidance, or an organization aiming to deepen your understanding of trauma, our work is rooted in one mission: to bring science to where it’s most needed.
Founded by a clinical psychologist, professor, and national speaker, Science for Survivors bridges cutting-edge research with real-world application to support recovery, resilience, and trauma-informed systems of care.
Built for Survivors. Designed for Change.
At Science for Survivors, we work with:
Survivors of trauma seeking evidence-based therapy or diagnostic clarity
Attorneys, courts, and agencies in need of independent psychological evaluations and expert consultation or testimony in civil and administrative contexts
Clinicians and providers looking for expert consultation or supervision in trauma-focused care
Organizations and leaders striving to become more trauma-informed in policy and practice
Communities and educators wanting science-backed tools for healing and prevention
We believe that trauma recovery is not one-size-fits-all—and that science should serve the people who need it most.
Community Commitment
Because care should be accessible.
We believe high-quality care should be accessible to all people impacted by trauma — not just those who can afford it.
That’s why a portion of all revenue is set aside to support our Community Care Fund, which provides low-cost and free services for survivors with limited financial means.
Every time someone invests in therapy, assessment, or training with us, they’re also helping someone else access life-changing support.
If you're seeking care and cost is a barrier, you are welcome to reach out. We reserve a limited number of reduced-fee and no-cost spots during active clinical periods.
Please note: Assessment and therapy services are typically offered from September through May. During the summer months, our clinical calendar is paused to support ongoing research, public education efforts, and travel outside of the licensed practice area.
